A group of children from 5th and 6th class have been learning to sail in Dun Laoghaire on Tuesday afternoons as part of the DLR Drafts Programme.
"For sailing we had to learn how to control the boat and sail it around. Two people take control of the boat. One person steers the boat with the tiller and another person controls the sail. Then at the end we got to jump into the water. I really like it, especially jumping in the water. I would recommend it to everyone who loves water activities. I also loved steering the boat around and sometimes we would get stuck and have to be towed by the speedboats" - Caithlin Hanlon 6th Class
