Proclamation Day 2016

March 15th was Proclalmation Day all over the country. To celebrate 100 years since the Easter Rising all schools were invited to raise the tricolour at 12pm. The tricolour was previously presented earlier in the year by the army along with a copy of the Proclamation. We were very lucky to have Champion boxer Bernard Dunne visit the school to raise our national flag. He also presented varous prizes to children on behalf of the school for attendance and pupil of the term. He also took some time to look around the school and at some of the children's work.
